First Steps on the Way

(There is an English introduction

below this Chinese introduction.)

Which WAY shall I believe?

What WAY shall I live?

Where will my present PATH lead?

A wise man once wrote:  “There is a WAY which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.” (Proverbs 14:12)

Jesus Christ said, “Wide is the gate and broad is that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow the ROAD that leads to life, and only a few find it.” He urges us to (Matthew 7:13-14)

Indeed, Jesus announced, “I am the WAY and the Truth and the Life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)

Christians believe that Jesus and His teachings are the Way to the Father and life.  The early Christians called their belief and way of life “the WAY.” (Acts 9:2).

This website is called “First Steps on the Way.”  It is about this WAY – the WAY Christians believe and the WAY Christians live.

You see, the Christian life is like a journey.  It begins somewhere and it ends somewhere.  As a Chinese proverb says, “The longest journey begins with a single step.”  Likewise, in this Christian journey there are some first steps that must be taken.

This website is about those “first steps.”

God’s own message to mankind, the Bible, will be our road map on this journey.

Let’s get started now!!  The pages on this website will take you systematically along the right WAY.

May God bless your journey!
